Long before it became what it is today, back in 2010, this was a small, unassuming hotel, resting quietly beside a traditional seaside taverna, tucked into the peaceful cove of Afytos. It wasn't luxury that made it special - it was the feeling. A sense of simplicity, authenticity, and calm that stayed with you long after you left.
For us, this place was never just a location. It was part of our childhood.
Every summer, we returned to Afytos, to our grandmother's home, where time seemed to slow down. Our days unfolded by the sea - morning swims in the crystal waters of Moudounou beach, long lunches by the shore, the sound of the waves blending with laughter and conversation. Evenings carried the golden light of the sun setting over the bay, and nights were filled with stories, friendships, and the kind of moments you wish you could hold onto forever.
These were not just holidays - they were the memories that shaped us.
Years later, as we followed our own path in the world of hospitality, already creating and caring for another hotel in Afytos, life brought us back to this very spot. When we learned that the taverna and the rooms we had loved for so long were available, it felt less like an opportunity - and more like something meant to be.
We knew, instantly, that we wanted to bring this place back to life.
Not by changing its soul, but by elevating it.
Our vision was to create an intimate sanctuary - a place where elegance meets simplicity, where refined gastronomy is paired with authenticity, and where the natural beauty of the landscape remains at the heart of every experience. A place where the beach remains quiet, the atmosphere personal, and every detail thoughtfully curated.
A place where every guest can slow down, reconnect, and create their own meaningful memories.
This vision became White Suites - one of the first adults-only boutique hotels in Greece, designed for those who seek tranquility, beauty, and a deeper sense of connection.
